David L. Burrier is a follower of Jesus, an entrepreneur, published author and award-winning poet, motivational & inspirational speaker, preacher, singer and songwriter, producer, master storyteller and a Hope Coach.
His mission in life is to be a source of inspiration, so that whoever he encounters will walk away with a renewed sense of mission and purpose in life.
David’s life has been guided by the following quote:
If you assume that every person you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about, or is hurting in some way, you will be right 99% of the time. So just be kind and seek to lift their spirit and give them hope to live another day.
He is the founder of I’VE BEEN THERE Ministries (IBTM) — a nonprofit organization whose mission is to bring a message of hope to a hurting world.
David has written and produced twelve Nighttime Devotionals for pre-school and elementary children. In addition, David has written and produced two adult devotional programs. These and many of David’s other programs and creations can be found on his nonprofit website where you can schedule him to speak at conventions, school assemblies, churches and other gatherings.

Royalties donated to Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp
David is donating 100% of his current and future personal royalties from all books in the Burrié Children’s Book Collection to Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp in Story City, Iowa, to be used to fund summer camp scholarships for underprivileged children.
